Wow...thanks Amelia for pointing out that I SUCK! At least at keeping my blog up to date... :P
I have been keeping myself pretty busy lately. I just got back from a grueling 8 day family trip to Los Angeles...by grueling I mean...OH MY GOD do I NOT want to do that again....
Without going into too many details...the trip was a waste of my time, holidays, and money because I was either bored or annoyed the entire time. And to think, I could have used that $2000 towards the house that I'm buying with Geoff next year, not to mention the eight holiday days that I could have used to have random long weekends throughout the year...ARGH!
So much for the family bonding time...we spent more time proving why we shouldn't do family holidays than actually having one.
Work is going well, except for the fact that we are so slow that we have now resorted to talking about having one of our staff members walk along the road outside of our credit union and wave people down...
My house is pretty much ready for Hallowe'en, my favorite time of the year. It's a time where you can feel free to be someone other than yourself and of course...FREE CANDY!!!! For me, it's the ghoulish decorations that I'm allowed to randomly distribute throughout my apartment.
Well, I'm actually in the middle of planning out some interesting ways to save up money to buy my house next year...so Happy Ghoul Time to all, and to all a creepy night!!

Yeesh...
Ok, so I'm not so good at updating my blog...not like anyone reads it anyways...
So in less than two days, my family and I are on our way to California to visit with Mickey, Goofy and the Disney gang. I'm not so sure that I'm overly excited, considering I'm a bit old for cartoons.
I understand that we all wanted to go there because of my niece (Kayley, 4) but like 4 grown adults want to spend time hanging out with annoying people in oversized costumes for four days...
Sounds cynical and bitter, I know...but I have to admit, I'm a bit annoyed that my sister decided that she was the boss of the trip, and has stated that "We won't have time for that!" when my mother or I mention something that we want to do, such as visit Long Beach. Well guess what sis? Too damned bad. I can miss a day of Disney fun and hang out at a beach.
Maybe I'll come across Jamie (friend from New Orleans, see first blog or two) as she lives in California...but I doubt it...that would be funny though.
